Inside the cave

Hello, fellow creatives! Today, I wanted to share with you my latest painting from my Tugboat of Terror series. This painting continues the story of a couple who goes on a tour of the Jungle, but things take a terrifying turn when they get lost.

As a visual development artist, I find it exciting to explore new stories and experiment with different styles. This series allows me to do just that. Plus, who doesn't love a good adventure story?

In my previous painting, I introduced a cave scene, and in this latest piece, I wanted to dive deeper into what the inside of that cave looks like. I challenged myself to work a bit faster while still maintaining an engaging story and stunning visuals.

To accomplish this, I focused on three shapes: big, medium, and small. These shapes created a negative space area that drew the viewer's attention to the character looking through the waterfall. It was a fun challenge to see how much impact I could create with just a few shapes, and I think it turned out great!

As visual development artists, we have the unique ability to transport our viewers to new worlds and tell incredible stories through our art. It's both an honor and a responsibility that I take seriously.

Overall, I'm thrilled with how this piece turned out. It's always a joy to see a vision come to life on the canvas. I hope this inspires you to explore new stories and styles in your own work. Keep creating, friends!
